Chicory and Red Chicory boats

Preparation time

Ingredients (chicory boats)

  • 2 stalks of chicory
  • 1 tub egg salad
  • fresh chives

Ingredients (red chicory boats)

  • 2 small stalks of red chicory
  • 1 tub of celery salad
  • walnuts

Method of preparation

Wash the chicory and/or red chicory. Peel the leaves off the heads and place them on a flat plate. Put a teaspoon of celery salad in the red chicory leaves and a teaspoon of egg salad in the chicory leaves. Garnish the celery salad with a walnut and the egg salad with a few snippets of chives.

Tip: Delicious as a snack or amuse-bouche.
