Have you always wanted to grow your own chicory?

Now you can! Our team of experts has developed its own 'Chicory Grow Kit' for consumers. The LOF. GROW KIT is equipped with a growing instruction so that you can easily grow your own fresh chicory in the dark! All you need is a cool place (14 – 18°C) and some water.

Also great to give as a present or business gift!

The LOF. GROW KIT is designed in such a way that you can use it multiple times. All you need for this is new chicory roots, which can be ordered through our webshop.

About the Roots

The chicory roots in the CHICORY GROWING KIT come directly from the grower and are cultivated in the fertile polder soil of the Noordoostpolder: at the heart of the Dutch chicory region. More than 2/3 of the total Dutch production of chicory roots grows in the Noordoostpolder. The fertile polder soil, combined with the climate, is extremely suitable for the cultivation of chicory and red chicory roots.

About the Chicory

Chicory is a healthy product. It is rich in folic acid, minerals such as potassium (known for its diuretic effect), and vitamins such as B1 and C. Folic acid has a beneficial effect on the stomach and intestinal flora and promotes a healthy and 'cheerful' pregnancy.

Delivery or pick-up?

It is also possible to pick up the ordered items from us. All orders received by us before 5:00 PM on Thursday can be picked up on Friday between 8 and 12 AM. Please make sure that you choose the option to pick up when paying!
Orders that come in later will be postponed to the next Friday.
